Cancellation policy I. Visa-Cancellation Policy
Eligibility: Students who must cancel because their Australian student visa was denied, and who notify us at least 14 days before the contract start date.
Required documents: Proof of visa refusal or non-grant must be e-mailed to us.
Deadline: For full-year contracts starting 31 December, cancellation must be completed by 17 December.
II. Standard Cancellation Policy
1. Notice given 14 days or more in advance
Charge: A two-week cancellation fee applies.
Ongoing liability: No further rent is owed.
2. Notice given less than 14 days before, or after, the contract start
Charge: A two-week cancellation fee applies.
Ongoing liability: You remain liable for six weeks’ rent or until a replacement tenant is found, whichever comes first.
The residence reserves the right of final interpretation.
