Acommodation rules
Cancellation policy 1. Visa Cancellation & Withdrawal Policy
Eligibility: Students who must withdraw because they were refused or did not receive an Australian student visa, and who notify us at least 14 days before the contract start date.
Required documents: Proof of visa refusal or non-grant must be emailed to us.
Deadline: For full-year contracts starting 31 December, the cancellation must be completed by 17 December.
2. Standard Cancellation & Withdrawal Policy
1. Notice given 14 days or more in advance
Fee: A 2-week cancellation fee applies.
Ongoing liability: No further rent is owed.
2. Notice given less than 14 days before, or after, the contract start
Fee: A 2-week cancellation fee applies.
Ongoing liability: You remain liable for 6 weeks’ rent or until a replacement tenant is found, whichever comes first.
The residence reserves the right of final interpretation.
