Cancellation policy I. STRATA BUILDINGS VICTORIA & STRATA BUILDINGS WELLINGTON, NEW ZEALAND
1. Cancellations Without Penalty:
- Failure to meet student status requirements.
- Inability to legally enter the country (Australia or New Zealand).
- Inability to enter due to border closures or restrictions.
- Flight cancellation: The lease start date may be adjusted. Depending on the length of the delay, financial penalties may apply. Please contact the accommodation directly.
2. Cancellations Involving Penalties:
- Provision of false or misleading information.
- Failure to pay the security deposit or rent in advance.
- Failure to sign the residential tenancy agreement.
- Change of mind.
Fee Processing: Refundable fees will be processed within 14 days after the refund is finalized.
II. No Visa No Pay Policy
1. Applicable Situations:
- Failure to obtain an Australian student visa before the lease start date.
- Cancellation after the lease start date due to visa refusal.
2. Procedure:
- Submit a written cancellation request via email, attaching the visa refusal notice from the Department of Home Affairs. This must be done within 24 hours of receiving the notice.
- If cancelled before the lease start date, you will receive formal confirmation that the Tenancy Agreement is cancelled without penalty.
- If cancelled after the lease start date, the Property Manager will assess the request for lease termination and inform you of the outcome.
Applicable Properties: Select UniLodge properties, including but not limited to UniLodge@Metro Adelaide, UniLodge South Bank, etc.
Policy Validity: This policy is valid until [Specify Date].
