Acommodation rules
Cancellation policy The following is a summary of the apartment cancellation policy. The policy is subject to real-time changes. Please refer to the official website and the contract for the latest information.
I. Standard Cancellation Policy
For Those Who Have Signed the Residential Agreement
- Students are required to pay the full rent as stipulated in the agreement. The terms may vary according to the regulations of different states in Australia.
- Exception ("No Visa, No Offer, No Pay" Clause):
Special Options within 14 Days before the Contract Start Date (Waiting for Visa/Admission Results)
- Option 1: Continue to pay the rent and keep the room.
- Option 2: Apply for a contract extension until the first semester of 2026 (the extension can only be made once. If the contract is cancelled after the extension, a 4 - week termination fee is still required).
- Option 3: Cancel directly and pay a 4 - week termination fee.
- Contact the apartment team to discuss the best option.
II. Special Notes for International Students
- If affected by visa delays, students need to contact the apartment 30 days before the contract start date to explain the situation.
- If the cancellation is made within 21 days or after the contract start date, the standard cancellation policy applies (a 4 - week termination fee is required).
III. Cancellation Policy for Un - signed Reservations (By Region)
1. Brisbane (Queensland)
- Full Refund Conditions:
- Contact the apartment via email.
2. Sydney (New South Wales)
- The room will be held for 7 days (an extension can be negotiated). The agreement must be signed within this period.
- Full Refund Conditions:
- If the agreement is not signed within 7 days, the deposit will not be refunded.
3. Melbourne (Victoria)
- The room will be held for 14 days (an extension can be negotiated). The agreement must be signed within this period.
- Full Refund Conditions:
- Contact the apartment via email.
4. NRAS Rooms (Some Apartments in Sydney)
- Refer to the special refund terms of the NRAS eligibility criteria (applicable to Iglu Broadway, Central Park, and Redfern apartments).
The final interpretation right belongs to the apartment.
