Acommodation rules

Cancellation policy

1. Cancellation during the Cooling - off Period (abolished):

Applicable to lessees who made reservations before July 15, 2024, and have not collected the keys yet.

The reservation can be cancelled within 14 calendar days after accepting the lease agreement.

2. Cancellation under Specific Conditions (written application required before August 1, 2024):

Withdrawal from the university due to health reasons, and certificates from the university and the lessee's doctor are required.

Failure to obtain university space or being refused to participate in courses, and proof of university examination results is required.

Visa application being rejected, and proof from a government official is required.

Other special circumstances are subject to the landlord's decision, and cancellation is not guaranteed.

3. After the Cooling - off Period and After Key Collection:

After the cooling - off period or after collecting the keys, regardless of the date, the lease agreement cannot be cancelled unless a suitable substitute lessee is found.

The lessee is required to pay all the rent until the substitute lessee moves in.

4. Cancellation Restrictions:

After August 1, 2024, regardless of the lessee's situation, the lease agreement cannot be cancelled.

After collecting the room keys, regardless of whether the cooling - off period or the August 1 deadline has passed, the lease agreement cannot be cancelled.

5. Requirements for Substitute Lessees:

Must be a full - time student.

Sign the agreement under the same conditions as the original lessee.

Provide sufficient evidence of funds and a suitable guarantor, or pay the rent in full in advance.

6. Lessee's Responsibilities:

Pay the rent according to the payment plan.

Be responsible for finding a suitable substitute lessee.

Provide a suitable guarantor and an installment payment plan within 14 days after accepting the lease agreement, otherwise the lessor has the right to cancel the lease agreement.

The final interpretation right belongs to the apartment.
