1. Cancellation within the Cooling-off Period (Within 7 Days)
- Policy: You have a 7-day cooling-off period after the receipt of the prepaid rent.
- Refund: If you cancel within 7 days, the entire prepaid rent will be refunded, and you will be released from the contract liability.
- Method: You need to submit a written application via email.
2. Cancellation after the Cooling-off Period (More than 7 Days)
- Liability: You are still required to fulfill the obligations under the lease contract.
- Exceptional Circumstances (Proof Required):
Requirements:
- In case of visa/academic performance issues, you need to submit the proof within 72 hours. If approved, the prepaid rent and the first installment of rent will be refunded.
- In case of special reasons, you need to submit the proof, but the cancellation request is not guaranteed to be approved and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
- If you fail to submit the proof within the specified time: The prepaid rent will not be refunded, and you are still required to fulfill the contract.
3. Cancellation after Receiving the Keys or the Start of the Lease Term
- Liability: You cannot cancel the contract unilaterally and are required to pay the full rent, unless you find a replacement tenant.
