Cancellation policy Below is a summary of the apartment cancellation policy. Please note that policies are subject to change; always refer to the official website and your tenancy agreement for the most current information.
1. Cancellation During Cooling-Off Period (Within 7 Days)
- Policy: A 7-day cooling-off period begins after the advance rent payment is received.
- Refund: Full refund of the advance rent payment if cancellation occurs within 7 days. All contractual obligations will be waived.
- Method: Cancellation must be requested in writing via email.
2. Cancellation After Cooling-Off Period (After 7 Days)
- Obligation: The tenant remains liable for all obligations under the tenancy agreement.
- Exceptions (Proof required):
Requirements:
- For visa/academic results issues: Supporting documents must be submitted within 72 hours of notification. Upon approval, the advance rent and the first rental installment will be refunded.
- For exceptional circumstances: Supporting evidence must be submitted. Approval of the cancellation request is not guaranteed and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
- Failure to submit proof on time: The advance rent will be forfeited, and the tenant remains bound by the contract.
3. Cancellation After Key Collection or Tenancy Start Date
- Obligation: Tenants cannot unilaterally cancel the agreement and are liable for the full rent unless a replacement tenant is found.
