I. Cancellation Policy Before the Contract Starts

Cooling-Off Period

    • Full refund conditions: You need to submit a university rejection letter before the contract starts, and the reason for cancellation is solely due to not meeting the academic requirements.

II. Cancellation Policy After the Contract Starts

Replacement Tenant

    • Successfully finding a replacement tenant: After the new tenant signs a complete contract, pays the rent, and moves in, the original tenant can cancel the tenancy. A £75 administration fee will be deducted from the refund.
    • Failing to find a replacement tenant: The original tenant is responsible for paying the full rent for the entire contract period.

Early Termination

    • Negotiation between both parties: This is only applicable in special circumstances and requires management approval. Additional fees may be charged.
    • Termination due to breach of contract: If the tenant violates the contract terms, the apartment management has the right to terminate the contract. The tenant is still responsible for paying the remaining rent and related fees.

III. Cancellation Process

  1. Submit a notice: Submit a written application via email or the online platform, stating your name, address, room number, and the reason for cancellation.
  2. Provide supporting documents: Attach relevant documents (such as rejection letters, medical certificates, etc.).
  3. Confirmation and processing: You will receive a confirmation email detailing the refund and subsequent steps.
