Cancellation policy I. STRATA BUILDINGS VICTORIA & STRATA BUILDINGS WELLINGTON, NEW ZEALAND
1. Cancellation Without Penalty:
- Failure to meet student status requirements.
- Inability to legally enter the country (Australia or New Zealand).
- Inability to enter due to border closures or travel restrictions.
- Flight cancellation: The lease start date may be adjusted; financial penalties may apply depending on the length of the delay. Please contact the accommodation directly.
2. Cancellation With Penalty:
- Providing false or misleading information.
- Failure to pay the security deposit or rent in advance.
- Failure to sign the residential tenancy agreement.
- Change of mind.
Refund Processing: Refundable amounts will be processed within 14 days after the refund is finalized.
II. No Visa No Pay Policy
1. Applicable Situations:
- Failure to obtain an Australian student visa before the lease start date.
- Cancellation after the lease start date due to visa refusal.
2. Procedure:
- Submit a written cancellation request via email, attaching the visa refusal notice from the Department of Home Affairs, within 24 hours of receiving the notice.
- If cancelled before the lease start date, you will receive formal confirmation; the lease agreement will be cancelled without penalty.
- If cancelled after the lease start date, the property manager will assess the termination request and inform you of the outcome.
Applicable Properties: Select UniLodge properties, including UniLodge@Metro Adelaide, UniLodge South Bank, and others as listed.
Policy Validity: Valid until the specified date.
