Acommodation rules
Cancellation policy 1.1 There is a 14 - day cooling - off period after submitting a reservation. During the cooling - off period, you can cancel the reservation without liability. You just need to submit a written cancellation application to the apartment, and the apartment will refund the full amount of the deposit you have paid.
1.2 If the time until the contract start date is less than 14 days, you can cancel the reservation without liability within 14 days after making the reservation or within 14 days from the reservation time to the actual check - in time.
1.3 If you cancel the reservation more than 14 days after making it (before August 1st), the deposit you have paid will not be refunded.
2.1 After the contract starts, if the applicant fails to check in within 7 days, the apartment will notify the applicant in writing and may terminate the agreement at any time. The deposit paid by the applicant will not be refunded, and the applicant will be required to continue to fulfill the contract terms until a tenant is found and the reservation is successfully completed, then the contract can be terminated. Otherwise, the applicant needs to pay the full rent as required by the contract. The tenant must meet the following requirements: (i) be a full - time student aged 18 or above; (ii) sign the agreement and pay the full rent; (iii) provide a guarantor as the case may be.
2.2 Cancellation of reservation after August 1st
After signing the agreement, if you need to cancel the reservation before check - in after August 1st for the following reasons, you can cancel it without liability and do not need to find a tenant.
(a) If you are a freshman and cannot enroll due to reasons such as grades, within 72 hours after the grades are announced:
(i) Submit a written cancellation application;
(ii) Provide a rejection letter from the university, proving that you cannot enroll due to reasons such as grades;
(iii) Provide an acceptance letter from another university (if you choose to enroll in another university).
(b) If your visa is rejected, within 72 hours after receiving the rejection letter, provide an official rejection letter from the embassy.
(c) If you cannot enroll due to health problems, provide supporting materials from the hospital.
After the apartment reviews and approves your application, the contract can be terminated smoothly.
2.3 If there is a Fusion - owned apartment in the city where the other institution you are going to attend is located, they will be happy to help you transfer there. At that time, the rent and deposit can be fully transferred to the other apartment.
