Cancellation policy The Paseo Place (SDSU Student Apartments) Cancellation / Early Termination Policy
I. Before Booking / Signing (Before Move - In)
Application Fee (~$58): Non - refundable
Security Deposit / Deposit:
Written cancellation more than 30 days before move - in: Full refund (a small management fee may be deducted in some cases)
Cancellation less than 30 days: The security deposit is non - refundable, or partial refund may be available only after the room is successfully sublet
Special Exemptions (Common among Students)
Visa Rejection / Non - admission to the school: With official proof, usually a full refund and free cancellation are available
Cancellation of Enrollment / Withdrawal from School: With official documents, an exemption from liability for termination can be applied for
II. After Signing and Already Moved In (Early Move - Out / Early Termination)
Basic Requirements
Must provide a 30 - day written notice to the apartment management
Rent must be paid normally during the notice period
Fees and Liabilities (Standard Student Apartment Practice)
Subletting Fee / Re - letting Fee: Approximately 1 month's rent
All discounts and concessions enjoyed at the time of move - in must be repaid
