Acommodation rules
Cancellation policy No Visa, No Pay / No Place, No Pay
For international students who have not received an offer from the university, if the university withdraws the admission due to insufficient grades, the students may be entitled to terminate the accommodation agreement. The materials to be submitted include: a rejection letter from the university or UCAS, a screenshot showing the insufficient grades, and official documents proving that the GPA and English proficiency requirements are not met. These materials should be submitted to the apartment's email within 7 days after the grades are announced. After the apartment verifies the materials and confirms their authenticity, the agreement will be cancelled, and the full deposit or prepaid rent will be refunded.
Points to note:
The "No Visa, No Pay" policy: It only applies before August 1, 2024. If the deadline is missed, the student needs to find a replacement tenant on their own; otherwise, they will lose the right to a refund.
Early termination fee for the lease: If the lease is terminated early, a management fee of £200 and possible gift fees will be charged. These fees will be deducted from the deposit or rent, and the remaining amount will be refunded.
The final interpretation right belongs to the apartment.
