Cancellation policy “The following is a summary of the apartment cancellation policy. The policy is subject to real-time changes. Please refer to the official website and the contract for the most up-to-date information.”
I. Basic Terms
Reservation Process
- A £100 Reservation Rent is required and should be paid through the online system.
- You need to sign the Tenancy Agreement within 3 days after paying the deposit. You can cancel the reservation and get a full refund before signing the agreement. The deposit is non - refundable after signing the agreement.
After Signing the Tenancy Agreement
- The Reservation Rent will be retained and deducted from the first rent payment.
- If the agreement is not signed within 7 days, the apartment management has the right to cancel the reservation and forfeit the Reservation Rent (beyond the cooling - off period).
- Once the Tenancy Agreement is signed, the Reservation Rent will be held until the first rent payment date stipulated in the agreement, at which point it will be deducted from your total payable amount.
II. Special Cancellation Policies
No Place, No Pay
- Applicable to: First - year undergraduate or postgraduate students.
- Conditions:
- Notify the apartment management within 7 days after receiving the university rejection letter.
- Provide an official rejection letter.
- Deadline: August 30th.
- Result: A full refund of the paid rent will be provided.
No Visa, No Pay
- Applicable to: First - year international students.
- Conditions:
- Notify the apartment management within 7 days after receiving the visa rejection notice.
- Provide an official visa rejection certificate.
- Deadline: August 30th
- Result: A full refund of the paid rent will be provided.
III. General Terms
- Refund Process: The refund will be processed within 14 days after receiving the required proof.
- Special Circumstances (such as health issues, family emergencies, etc.): Evidence is required, and each case will be handled individually.
- Statutory Rights: This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
