For bookings made before June 1, 2023: If you signed a license agreement before January 1, 2023, but have not collected your room key, you can cancel your license by written notice or via email to the hotel manager until June 1st without any penalty. Once we receive such notice, we will confirm receipt, cancel your license, and refund your prepaid room fee of €300.00.

For bookings made on or after June 1, 2023: If you signed your license agreement on or after January 1, 2023, and you have not collected your room key, you can cancel your license at any time within fourteen (14) days from the date you signed the license (the “cooling-off period”). The notice must be sent in writing or via email to the hotel manager. Once we receive such notice, we will confirm receipt, cancel your license, and refund your prepaid room fee of €300.

For bookings for the 2nd or 3rd semester starting after January 1, 2024: If you signed a license agreement for the 2nd or 3rd semester after December 1, 2024, you can cancel the license by sending a written notice or via email to the hotel manager until eight (8) weeks before the start of the agreement (whichever is the shortest) without any penalty. Once we receive such notice, we will confirm receipt, cancel your license, and refund your prepaid room fee of €300.00.

If you have not collected your key, you can also cancel at any time within fourteen (14) days from the date you signed the license (the “cooling-off period”). During the cancellation period, you can cancel your license by sending a written notice or via email to the hotel manager. Once we receive such notice, we will confirm receipt, cancel your license, and refund your prepaid room fee of €300.00.
Cancellation outside the cooling-off period: Outside the cooling-off period, you can request to cancel your license by written notice or via email to the hotel manager. However, you will still be required to pay the room fee under the license until a suitable replacement student is found.

If you are unsuccessful in obtaining a travel and study visa, we can assist. Firstly, if you are going to study elsewhere, we may transfer you to another of our accommodations worldwide. If you do not intend to study elsewhere, or if we do not have accommodation in your new city/town of study, we will terminate your license provided the following conditions are met:

You submit a cancellation application in writing or via email to the hotel manager within three (3) days of receiving the visa refusal letter; and provide the manager with a copy of the refusal letter from the embassy or visa office.

If your license has already commenced, you will continue to be liable for the room fee payable under the license until the above requirements are met.

If you do not receive your offer, you don't need to worry. This only applies to future first-year CAO undergraduate students.

If you are unsuccessful in obtaining a degree at your chosen university, don't worry, we can help. Firstly, if you are going to study elsewhere, we may transfer you to another of our accommodations. If you do not intend to study elsewhere, or if we do not have accommodation in your new city/town of study, we will terminate your license provided the following conditions are met:

Students with a Leaving Certificate for the current academic year can submit a written cancellation application via email to the hotel manager within 24 hours after your admission/refusal.

You provide the manager with a copy of the refusal letter from the college or CAO.

Once we receive your request, we will confirm receipt and refund your prepaid room fee of €300.
