Booking deposit = permanent risk of loss

1. Once paid, the one-week-rent deposit is non-refundable for any cancellation reason (visa refusal, serious illness, change of study plans, etc.).
• The only exception: the deposit may be offset against the first rent payment if you check in as scheduled.II. Tiered Consequences of Cancellation
