Handling of Special Situations
A. Medical Reasons
- Condition: You are unable to continue your studies due to a pre - declared medical problem before signing the contract.
- Requirements: Submit a doctor's certificate and a university expulsion/deferral certificate.
- Responsibility: You are required to pay at least 4 weeks' rent or the current rent cycle fee (whichever is longer).
B. Sensitive/Special Cases
- Procedure: Submit a written application and supporting materials to the Special Conditions Committee.
- Processing Time: Approximately 10 working days (the final decision is non - appealable).
Important Notes
- The deposit is non - transferable. It cannot be transferred to other tenants or years.
- Refund Delays: Due to the processes of the deposit protection scheme, the apartment management cannot expedite the refund.
- No Cancellation after Move - in: Even if you drop out of school, you are still required to pay the full rent until a new tenant is found or the lease term ends.
- Sub - let Pricing: The rent for the new tenant will be based on the current market price, which may differ from the original price.
